The producers of Rocklahoma has announced that KORN will be joining the festival as the Saturday night headliner. As reported earlier, Ozzy Osbourne suffered an injury which required surgery in March. Due to this injury, Osbourne was forced to cancel all of his remaining 2019 tour dates, including his scheduled appearance at Rocklahoma. The metal legend will remain under the care of a physician in Los Angeles while he recovers.
In an email released by Rocklahoma, promoters said, “while we wish Ozzy Osbourne could be rockin’ with us come May, we’re stoked to announce KORN will be joining us in Pryor”. Each year promoters for Rocklahoma work tirelessly to bring a variety of artists to the stage. The three day festival is one of the largest in the country and attracts tens of thousands of people each year. Fans were understandably disappointed when Osbourne cancelled, but they have been patient while promoters worked to find an artist to fill the Saturday night headlining slot.
There is no replacing Ozzy Osbourne, but KORN is definitely a festival headliner. The Grammy award winning band always delivers a stellar performance. For more than two decades, KORN has turned out hit after hit and made an indelible mark on the metal music scene. With twelve studio albums under their belt, KORN has plenty of material to put together a much anticipated performance at Rocklahoma 2019.
