Nothing More’s 2019 “The Truth Tour” Kicking off in February

02/06/19 – By:  Addie Hayes, Editor/Lead Writer, Regional Music Journal

In October 2018, Grammy nominated rock band Nothing More announced tour dates for their 2019 “The Truth Tour”.  The band will start off in Phoenix, Arizona at The Van Buren on 2/21/19 and wrap up on 3/23/19 in their home town of San Antonio, Texas, at the Aztec Theater.   Joining Nothing More will be Of Mice and Men, Badflower and Palisades.

The band’s last album, The Stories We Tell Ourselves, was released on September 15, 2017, and produced the number one Rock Radio hit “Go To War”.  Upon its release, the album topped the Billboard US Mainstream Rock Songs chart and earned the band Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for the single “Go To War”.  The Stories We Tell Ourselves produced four additional singles, “Don’t Stop”, “Who We Are”, “Just Say When” and “Let ‘Em Burn”.

A music video for the single “Let ‘Em Burn” was recently released.  It addresses the ever growing problem of mass shootings and gun violence plaguing the United States in recent years.  The band pulls no punches when it comes to a difficult issue that has brought about such tragedy and touched so many lives.  Ben Roberds of the award winning Dominar Films directed the video.

Nothing More thrives on stage during live performances, and “The Truth Tour” will no doubt deliver fantastic shows in each city.  From the highly energetic and physical performance style of the band, to impressive stage props such as the 400-pound Scorpion Tail, Nothing More produces one of the best live shows in the rock scene today.  Fans can head over to Nothing More’s website for more tour details and to find links to purchase tickets to an upcoming show.
