New Years Day Continues Headlining Tour Into Fall 2019

On April 26, 2019, New Years Day dropped their latest album Unbreakable and announced their first North American headlining tour.  They made a stop at Rocklahoma to perform on the main stage and we had a chance to interview bassist Frankie Sil and guitarist Austin Ingerman following the performance.  They talked about the new album and the upcoming tour.  The initial run began on June 11, 2019 and they wrapped on July 19, 2019.  However, much to the delight of their fans, New Years Day have dates in the fall, before they head off to Europe for a continuation of their popular 2018 tour with Halestorm and In This Moment.

The new album is doing well for the band which is no surprise to anyone who has listened to it in its entirety.  The songs are powerful and catchy, a perfect blend of metal with a sprinkling of pop, something frontwoman Ash Costello envisioned for the album.  Producers Mitchell Marlow and Scott Stevens each brought their own unique style to the table and helped the band deliver their strongest album to date.  The singles “Shut Up” and “Come For Me” are hits with fans and have produced two music videos.  The band will be on the road through October before heading to Europe, below you can find a list of upcoming tour dates.
