Indie rock band Hippo Campus released their second studio album, Bambi, on September 28, 2018.  With a new album comes a tour, which the band announced in January.  The second leg of the 2019 Bambi tour will kick off on April 18, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The band are scheduled to perform at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 20, 2019.

Bambi was written in the Winter of 2017 while Hippo Campus was on tour in support of their debut album Landmark.  The first single from the album, “Passenger”, was released on June 12, 2018, and the second single “Bambi” was released in August.  The album is experimental, containing intricate orchestration and chord progressions.  Bambi is a reflection of the growth and evolution of Hippo Campus.  The band is not afraid to challenge themselves and fans are drawn to the honesty and vulnerability found in the music.
