As part of their 25th anniversary, Bowling For Soup has announced they are teaming up with Less Than Jake for a fall co-headlining tour called “Good Vibes & High Fives Tour”. Bowling For Soup first gained national attention when they released their third studio album, Let’s Do It for Johnny! in 2000 through Jive Records. The album featured their first hit single “The Bitch Song” and also the band’s cover of Bryan Adams’ “Summer of ‘69” was a fan favorite. Two years later, the band released their fourth studio album Drunk Enough to Dance, which propelled them to mainstream success.
The single “Girl All the Bad Guys Want” was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2003 for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with vocal. The group also joined The Vans Warped Tour. Bowling For Soup continued to enjoy success with the 2004 release of A Hangover You Don’t Deserve, which featured the single “1985”, a song that reached number 5 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart.
Bowling For Soup has released five additional studio albums, The Great Burrito Extortion Case in 2006, Sorry for Partyin’ in 2009, Fishin’ for Woos in 2011, Lunch. Drunk. Love in 2013 and Drunk Dynasty in 2016. The album The Great Burrito Extortion Case produced the hit “High School Never Ends”. The band has continued to tour release new music, much to the delight of their fans.
